The Condition of Sale:
The puppy in reference to this contract has been born under the care of
Patricia Neiderer /Pink Paws Kennel.

-Pink Paws guarantees that at the time of sale, the puppy is in good health and has received proper health care including, but not limited to: worming treatments, first vaccination, and a thorough health exam. *attached -Vet health certificate if applicale.
-Many of the puppies born at Pink Paws Kennel will develop into dogs that are suitable for showing, breeding, and service. It should be understood, however, that there is no guarantee at the time of sale regarding the future showing, breeding prospects or service availability of the animal.
What is guaranteed is a good companion animal and family pet.

-The buyer_____ has THREE (3) days from the time of receipt of puppy to have puppy examined by a veterinarian. It is strongly urged by us that all purchasers do so in order to avoid nullification of this agreement. If at the time of the initial vet check, the puppy is determined to be seriously ill from symptoms that are undoubtedly the result of a hereditary condition (minor health ailments including, but not limited to, fleas, worms, or stress induced diarrhea due to the puppy’s transition from the breeder’s home are not reasons for the puppy to be returned to breeder), the new owner is to return the puppy along with any other accompanying information within three days at buyers expense if a replacement is desired.  At this point Pink Paws Kennel will replace the puppy in question with another puppy of similar bloodlines and/or the same color and gender should the buyer so desire, upon availability. This guarantee will be terminated immediately if the dog is not examined within the allotted time.
-A warranty against all life altering genetic disease is provided for
one year after the date of birth. Should a genetic disease be discovered during this time that will greatly shorten the life of, or greatly alter the quality of life of the dog, Pink Paws Kennel will provide the buyer with a puppy of same value, chosen by the breeder, upon availability. All of what has been said above is contingent upon the new owner(s) providing a letter of verification from the examining veterinarian.
-Furthermore, it is noted that Pink Paws Kennel assumes no responsibility for this puppy once it has left the premises. This includes veterinary medical expense, mortality, landlord’s disapproval, allergic reaction to puppy, family disagreement, behavioral/training difficulties, mistreatment of dog, accidental poisoning or trauma or any other reason not specifically stated above. If for some reason one of these problems should arise and you find yourself wanting to place your dog in a new home, I ask that you first contact myself.
My main concern here is that none of our dogs under any circumstances wind up in the dog pound or other type of animal shelter. There are always other options
and I would be more than happy to help.

-The new owner ______agrees to maintain this dog in good health, providing routine preventative health care including, but not limited to, inoculation, internal and external parasites, and preventative medication. Veterinary records must be provided to breeder if requesting a replacement. New owner agrees to maintain the dog in a humane environment and to properly train and care for the dog. If any of the above preventative care has not been provided, or if the breeder feels the puppy has been the victim of abuse or neglect, the health warranty will be void.

Under no circumstances shall Pink Paws Kennel be liable to the buyer or to any third party for any consequential, incidental, or special  damages resulting from or in manner related to the dog. Upon receipt of puppy all veterinary care and its associated costs are the sole and exclusive responsibility of the buyer.
I have taken steps to ensure that your new puppy is healthy.
Your puppy has been selectively bred for excellent quality, health, soundness, intelligence and good temperament.
Your puppy has been on a vaccination and de-worming schedule here. It is very important to continue vaccinations and a worming
schedule for your puppy and don’t forget annual boosters.
The puppy will need follow up vaccination,
worming, flea control, rabies vaccination(PA law-puppy at 12 weeks needs to have rabies shot and license) and heart worm prevention as recommended by your vet.

As the Breeder/Seller I certify that the puppy is free from illness and defects to the best of my knowledge.
